The 2017 Met Gala arrived last night! The first Monday in May has become the annual host to the Met Gala, one of the most-watched makeup and fashion events of the year.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

It\u2019s basically the Superbowl for fashion and makeup.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since I\u2019ve done makeup looks on celebrities for the red carpet time and time again, I always tune in with my professional makeup artist eyes to spot my favorite looks of the night.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Met Gala is one event where celebrities are encouraged to shine bright and be bold. And let me tell you, the celebs walking the red carpet last night did not disappoint.<\/span><\/p>\n

Let\u2019s get into it!<\/span><\/p>\n

Kendall Jenner<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Kendall looked absolutely stunning with a <\/span>light glow<\/span><\/a> on her bronzed skin, simple eye makeup, and a <\/span>bold red lip<\/span><\/a> to compliment her dazzling dress. This is by far one of the simplest looks of the night, but it was still a pretty one.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rihanna<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Wow! Rihanna certainly had a lot going on with her Commes Des Garcons gown, but even a dress as bold as hers, did not deter from her makeup. The coloring around her eyes matched the rosy red of the flowers on her dress, as did her deep red lip. The makeup choices her artist chose were certainly on point – even if I wasn\u2019t a fan of her gown.<\/span><\/p>\n

Selena Gomez<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Selena\u2019s visionary makeup was pushing the envelope with her neon pink eyeshadow. This electric hue is typically layered on lips or dabbed on the cheeks, but, of course, Selena decided to debut this color on her lids.<\/span><\/p>\n

When her hair is gently moved away from her eyes, you can spy the cat-eye shape of the shadow that nearly reaches her bold brows. Combined with a subtle overall makeup, I\u2019m so feeling this look!<\/span><\/p>\n

Candice Swanepoel<\/b><\/h3>\n

Candace literally looks like a femme fatale dream. This is hands down the absolute best <\/span>cat eye<\/span><\/a> I saw on the red carpet last night. <\/span><\/p>\n

Kylie Jenner<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"Screen<\/a><\/p>\n

Kylie decided to go with a more subdued glam look rather than something over the top because the focus of her look was obviously her naked dress. Her <\/span>fierce brows<\/span><\/a> were matched with a shimmery rose gold eyeshadow that directly matched her Versace gown. Kylie\u2019s signature lips were layered with a matte pinky-nude hue.<\/span><\/p>\n

Taylor Hill<\/b><\/h3>\n

Taylor\u2019s luminous glow is on point, and I\u2019m certain that her lit look was turning heads. If you\u2019re envious of her golden lit from within look, make sure to snag my Lit Like a Boss highlighter in <\/span>Gold Metal<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Celine Dion<\/b><\/h3>\n

Celine\u2019s long-awaited debut was completely worth the wait. She was ensuring all hearts will go on with her <\/span>dark and dramatic eye makeup<\/span><\/a>. A <\/span>simple nude lip<\/span><\/a> completely made her eyes the focal point of her entire look. Bravo, Celine. Bravo.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rita Ora<\/b><\/h3>\n

Oh, Rita. Her Met Gala makeup looks are always some of my favorites. Last night she looked exquisite and quite badass with those <\/span>big lashes<\/span><\/a>, brows, and <\/span>classic red lip<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cara Delevingne<\/b><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a><\/p>\n

Cara was a glittering futuristic looking goddess last night! She applied jewels to her head and face, while simultaneously matching her painted hair to her silver glittering eyeshadow. Talk about a look that should\u2019ve been rocked at the <\/span>Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2<\/span><\/i> premier.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gigi Hadid<\/b><\/h3>\n

Gigi looked absolutely breathtaking. I love that the only pop of color came from her black cat eye which was selected to match her earrings, thigh highs, and stilettos. Her light brown lip matched her camel colored dress completely.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lily Collins<\/b><\/h3>\n

Last but certainly not least is, Lily. Her look is FIRE! It is so wickedly 1920\u2019s modern goth. The <\/span>top<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>bottom lashes<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>bold brow<\/span><\/a>, and <\/span>stand out dark lip<\/span><\/a> make her fair skin and dark eyes pop against the coloring. Lily\u2019s look was hands down my favorite of 2017. Keep on slaying, Lily. <\/span><\/p>\n
