I just went to the swanky and posh Tao Restaurant over the weekend on the East Side of Tinseltown. Besides scoping out the jaw dropping and awe-inspiring interior which includes cool buddhas in the lounge area and a hella giant one in the main room, I was spying the makeup looks on all the Hollywood babes and starlets roaming throughout.

This place is at the top of “LA TRENDY“ places to go and be seen. Not to mention the food gives Nobu a run for it’s money with the mouth watering dishes!

This fall, trends in makeup seen on runways around the world include bold colors, tribal patterns, and grungy eye makeup looks.

Whether you’re on your way to pilates, hitting the club with your best gf’s, or finally on a date with that debonaire man from the art show, there is a makeup look for every occasion.

I’m pairing these trendy makeup looks with some of my favorite LA hot spots, so you can navigate the Los Angeles scene like a gal with incomparable swag.

Here are the top 6 fall makeup trends you should be slaying in Los Angeles:

Fresh Faced Complexion

This fresh faced look is also known as dewy skin! Will dewy skin ever not be a trend? I think not.

Achieving this look is simple. Mix SKINtillating Liquid into your foundation and evenly apply all over your face.

This glowing look is perfect to rock on your way to a kickass pilates class at EDEN by Eden Sassoon Pilates. The best part? Even if you break a sweat when working on toning your core with Eden, you’ll still look absolutely radiant on your way to pick up a nourishing green juice or acai smoothie bowl from Earth Bar.

Rock’n’Roll Eyes

Can’t wing your eyeliner just right? Girl, don’t stress it! This fall is all about grungy rock’n’roll eyes, so we’re going to smudge it the eff up!

Here’s how to nail this look:

Apply your fave dark and sultry eyeshadow to your lids. Then add a jet black pencil eyeliner, like Black Darth, along your upper and lower lash line. Using a smudge brush, blend your liner with a back and forth motion to create a perfectly imperfect rock’n’roll eye.

This sexy look is perfect for a night out at The Hotel Cafe in Hollywood. This cozy bar/lounge enlists talented up and coming musicians each night belting out their originals. The stage is so small and feels so personal that it’s like you’re being serenaded with a tune written just for you.

Orange Lips

I absolutely ADORE orange lips (and freckles) because they pop and look amazing on every skin tone. The ideal lipstick to match this color would be Addiction by Bosso Beverly Hills.

This bright colored lip will be absolutely perfect to help you seal the deal at your power lunch at South Beverly Grill of Beverly Hills. The best part about Bosso lipstick? It has staying power to give you a sexy and saturated pout while you schmooze with that agent at the next table!

Going Goth

Bold. Dark. Showstopping…..

The words that come to mind when I think of gothic makeup. The gothic aesthetic was seen all over the catwalks at fashion week this season. The dark looks were brought to life with black shadow, darkly shaded in brows, and blood-red or wine colored lipstick.

If you’re feeling really bold, I recommend trying out a super dark or black lipstick.

Rock this look at Da Poetry Lounge found in the Greenway Court Theater, in LA. It’s the largest weekly open mic in the United States with weekly Slam Poetry readings. So. Much. Fun!

Tribal Party

Tribal looks also swept the runways during fashion week. Now, I know this look isn’t for everyone, but it is a pretty cool trend.

To nail this look, all you have to do is pair bright and eccentric neon hues together and draw different shapes. Use pictures for inspo and go to town.

Are you feeling brave? Try out this hot new tribal look at a local art show. There is no shortage of art galleries in DTLA.

I recommend checking out downtownartwalk.org for the next Art Walk and a list of galleries all over Los Angeles!

Double Cat Eye

Remember when I wrote a whole blog on how the edgy double cat eye was a hot trend? I’m always ahead of the trends because it’s still on the radar for this upcoming fall. YAS! Here’s a whole tutorial on how to nail this eccentric look.

Turn heads all over Los Angeles with this new generation of cat eye. These feline flicks can be rocked by the waves at The Penthouse on Santa Monica Beach (sitting atop the Huntley Hotel). With panoramic views and a plethora of swagalistic men around the bar, those flicks will be the view they’ll remember.

Which of these looks are on your forecast for this fall? I can’t wait to prep this pout and rock some black lipstick paired with grungy eyes! #ILoveRockNRoll
